Greece Bacon Bomb - English Recipe for Grill and BBQ

A truly bacony meat loaf recipe. Bacon is bound to explode in your mouth. Give it a try!!


For the stuffing
Feta cheese 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Barbecue sauce 6 Tablespoon (Divided.)
Peppers 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Dried oregano 2 Teaspoon
Other ingredients
Bacon slices 500 Gram
Ground beef/Ground pork / combination 1 Kilogram
Barbecue rub 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Barbecue sauce 6 Tablespoon



1. Prepare monolith grill for indirect cooking with grill temperature of 110 C.


1. Prepare the bacon base as shown in the video.

2. Mix the ground meat with the barbecue rub and layer it all over the bacon base.

3. Drizzle barbecue sauce all over the meat. Layer with feta and peppers. Sprinkle oregano evenly and then roll it up.

4. Sprinkle generous amount of barbecue rub all over the roll.

5. Place the roll over the grill and let it cook on indirect heat with a dripping dish placed underneath.

6. After cooking the roll for about half an hour, glaze it with your favourite barbecue sauce. Repeat the process, about 2-3 times and let the meat cook until it reaches an internal temperature of 68 C.


7. Remove from heat, slice it and serve it on a wooden platter. Enjoy
