GETTING READY
1. Preheat oven to 350F.
2. Line a 9-by-5-by-3-inch loaf pan with foil. Leave some extra foil on the edge.
MAKING
3. In a medium size skillet add butter. Heat to melt it.
4. Add onion in hot butter. Saute for 5 minutes till the onions turn tender.
5. In a large bowl, combine the rest of the ingredients with onion except bacon. Mix the ingredients well using a wooden spoon.
6. In the prepared pan, turn mixture. Spread it evenly.
7. Place bacon on top.
8. Place the pan in oven, and bake about 1 hour. Stand for several minutes before removing the foil.
SERVING
9. Serve Veal Loaf hot or cold.
