Cooked garbanzos/2 cans 16 ounce size canned garbanzos 4 Cup (64 tbs) , liquid drained and reserved
Olive oil 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Canned anchovy fillets 2 Ounce , drained and finely chopped
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Pepper 1 Teaspoon
Chopped parsley 3 Tablespoon



1. Take a saucepan and add small amount of reserved liquid along with garbanzo and simmer.

2. Take another saucepan, heat oil and stir in other ingredients.

3. Simmer and keep on stirring at frequent intervals.

4. Spoon over heated garbanzos and cook for 15 minutes until the mixture is thoroughly heated.

5. Chill the ceci marinara atleast 6 hours before serving.


6. Serve the ceci marinara over pasta.
