Maple Barbecue Broiler

Ingredients

Broiler 4 , halves
Butter/Margarine 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , melted
Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm) , minced
Wine vinegar 3 Tablespoon
Maple syrup 1 Tablespoon
Salt 1 Teaspoon
Dry mustard 1/4 Teaspoon
Marjoram 1/4 Teaspoon
Pepper 1 Dash

Directions

MAKING

1) On a rack, place the broiler halves with skin side up about 4 to 5 inches from the hot and glowing coals.

2) Combine together all the remaining ingredients and blend them well.

3) For 20 minutes, broil the chicken halves, turn them and brush with the maple mix. Broil for another 20 minutes and turn the skin side up. Continue to cook the chicken for 15 to 20 more minutes, frequently brushing with the sauce.

4) By cutting the thickest part of the thigh, check for doneness.

SERVING

5) Serve hot.
