Soybean Mushroom Loaf

Ingredients

Chopped mushrooms 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Chopped celery 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Oil 2 Tablespoon
Soy flour 1 Tablespoon
Milk 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Egg 1 , beaten
Whole wheat bread crumbs 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Cooked soybeans 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Salt 1/4 Teaspoon
Ground savory 1/8 Teaspoon

Directions

GETTING READY

1. Preheat the oven at 350°.

MAKING

2. In a pan heat oil and saute mushrooms and celery.

3. Stir in flour and milk and mix well adding the remaining ingredients.

4. Grease a loaf pan, press the mixture into it and bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes to 1 hour until brown.

SERVING

5. Serve the loaf after slicing as snack or use for sandwiches.
