No mixes, powders or dyes needed! There is nothing like an ice cold glass of homemade lemonade made the old fashioned way from fresh lemons, pure sugar and water! Super refreshing and one glass is never enough.

Lemon 8 , juiced (add more if required)
Zest of lemon 3
Sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Water 6 Cup (96 tbs)

1. Wash lemons thoroughly. Roll lemons firmly on a hard surface until they become soft to make them easier to juice.

2. Zest 2-3 lemons. Set aside.

3. In a pot over medium heat, add sugar, lemon zest and 2 cups of water.

4. Bring it to a light simmer and continue to simmer for about 5 minutes or until sugar has dissolves and the mixture has a light yellow color. Do not boil.

5. Remove from heat.

6. In a large bowl juice the lemons and strain the lemon juice into a large pitcher.

7. Strain the sugar mixture into the large pitcher.

8. Add in 4 cups of cold water.

9. Taste to make sure it’s not too sweet, if so add more water.

10. Fill chilled serving glasses with ice and pour in the lemonade. Garnish each glass with sliced lemons and serve fresh or store in the refrigerator and serve chilled.
