Latin American Cookies

Latin American Cookies are just right for the holidays and all special occasions. They are easy and simple to make and need. We have one just recipe for you. It has molasses, chocolate, spices and butter.


Butter 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Sugar 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
All purpose flour 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs)
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
Baking soda 1/2 Teaspoon
Cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
Nutmeg 1/2 Teaspoon
Ginger 1/4 Teaspoon
Light molasses 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Double strength cold coffee 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Semi sweet chocolate morsels



1)In a bowl, beat together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

2)In another bowl, sift together flour, salt, baking powder, soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger.

3)Mix the two mixtures alternately with combined molasses and coffee. Blend well after each addition.

4)Add chocolate morsels and mix well.

5)Take a greased baking sheet and drop spoonsful on it.

6)Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes.


7)Serve the Latin American cookies when desired.
