For popcorn | ||
Popcorn kernels | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (125 mL) | |
Butter | 2 Tablespoon (30 mL) | |
For caramel sauce | ||
Butter | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (50 mL) | |
Corn syrup/Molasses | 2 Tablespoon (30 mL) | |
Brown sugar | 4 Tablespoon (60 mL) | |
Sugar | 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs) (75 mL) | |
Salt | 1 Pinch |
GETTING READY
1. Preheat oven to 300 degree F or 150 degree C.
2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
MAKING
For Popcorn:
3. Place a large pot over medium high flame and melt butter in it.
4. Add popcorn kernels, cover with lid and shake until there are 5-6 seconds between pops.
For Caramel Sauce:
5. In a small pot, combine butter, brown sugar, sugar, salt, and corn syrup/molasses. Place the pot over low flame and stir until all the ingredients have melted together. Do not boil.
FINALIZING
6. Pour caramel over popped corn and stir to coat.
7. Pour popcorn onto the lined baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes. Allow to cool.

8. Serve and enjoy!
