Lynn's Homemade Barbeque Sauce

Lynn demonstrates how to make a delicious and simple homemade barbeque sauce that comes from her mother-in-law. This was the only barbeque sauce that she used for ribs, chicken or whenever she needed barbeque sauce for a dish.


Ketchup 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Beer 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Chili sauce 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Yellow mustard 4 Teaspoon
Dry mustard 3/4 Teaspoon
Canola oil 1 1/2 Teaspoon
Cider vinegar 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Steak sauce 1/8 Cup (2 tbs)
Soy sauce 1 Teaspoon
Worcestershire sauce 1/8 Cup (2 tbs)
Black pepper 1 1/2 Teaspoon , freshly grounded
Fresh lemon juice 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Brown sugar 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs)



1. In a large bowl, add in the ketchup, beer, chili sauce, yellow mustard, dry mustard, canola oil, cider vinegar, steak sauce, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, fresh lemon juice and brown sugar. Whisk well.

2. Pour the sauce into an airtight jar and refrigerate.


3. Serve barbecue sauce with chicken.
