Chanukah Potato Latkes

Ingredients

Potatoes 6 , peeled
Onion 1 , peeled
Eggs 3
Baking powder 3 Teaspoon
Bread loaf 1/2
Flour 2 Tablespoon
Oil 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Deep Frying)
Salt To Taste
Pepper To Taste

Directions

Grate the potatoes and onion and strain, leaving small amount of liquid.

Place in a bowl.

Add the eggs, baking powder, salt and pepper and mix well.

Remove crusts from bread and soak in just enough water to cover.

Squeeze moisture from bread.

Add the bread to potato mixture and mix well.

Add enough flour to thicken and mix.

Drop from large tablespoon into deep, hot oil and cook until brown on both sides.
