Jambalaya with My Homemade Andouille Sausage

On this video I used some of my homemade andouille sausage that I made last weekend to make one of my favorite dishes. Jambalaya.


Canola oil 1 Tablespoon
Andouille sausage 1 Pound , sliced (as needed)
Chicken breast 3 , dice
Onion 1
Green bell pepper 1
Red bell pepper 1
Chopped garlic 1 Tablespoon
Bay leaf 2
Tango spice blend 2 Tablespoon (Cajun rub)
Worcestershire sauce 1 Tablespoon
Canned crushed tomato/Canned diced tomato 15 Ounce
Rice 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Chicken broth 3 Cup (48 tbs)
Shrimp 1/4 Pound (as needed)



1. Place a pot on flame and pour oil in it. Add homemade andouille sausage and sauté for 5 minutes.

2. Add chicken, onion, green pepper, and red pepper. Stir and add garlic, bay leaves, tango seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for 5 minutes.

3. Stir in canned tomato and rice. Pour broth, cover and bring to a boil. Once it reaches to a boil, cover and turn off the flame.

4. After 5 minutes add the shrimp, cover and let sit for 5-8 minutes or until rice and shrimp is done.


5. Serve hot and enjoy!
