How to Make Easy Ground Beef Stuffed Ravioli with Pomodoro Sauce

For stuffing
Ground beef 1 Pound
Olive oil 1 Tablespoon
Salt and pepper To Taste
Fresh parsley 1 Tablespoon
Cayenne pepper 1 Dash
For cooking ravioli
Water 3 Cup (48 tbs) (3/4 pot)
Salt 1/2 Tablespoon (Boiled in salt water)
Bay leaf 1
Other ingredients
Wonton wrappers 1/2 Packet
Olive oil 1 Teaspoon (as needed)
Flour 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (For dusting)
For sauce
Canned whole plum tomatoes 1 Can (10 oz)
Fresh parsley 1 Teaspoon
Salt and pepper To Taste
Chili flakes To Taste



1. Sprinkle flour on cookie sheet and set aside.



For Stuffing:

2. In a frying pan, brown ground beef with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Drain off excess fat, if any.

3. Into a bowl, combine the browned beef with parsley and cayenne pepper. Mix well.

4. On floured surface, lay a wanton wrapper and place 1 heaping teaspoon of the beef mixture in the center. Wet the edges and lay 2nd wrapper on top. Seal the edges. Repeat to make more and place them on the floured cookie sheet. You can dry them and snap freeze at this stage.

5. Meanwhile, in a pot, boil water with salt and bay leaf.

For Sauce:

6. In a frying pan, squish and add tomatoes along with its juices. Bring to a simmer and let the sauce thicken. Add parsley, salt, pepper, and chilli flakes. Stir well.



7. Once the water comes to a rolling boil, gently place the ravioli into it, one at a time and , quickly bring back to a boil and then down to simmer. Gently stir the water. Cook for 1-2 minutes or until they start floating on the top.

8. Remove them from the water and place in a large bowl; toss them gently with little sauce and olive oil.



9. Serve garnished with parmesan cheese, pepper, parsley and chilli flakes.
