Basil pesto is probably one of the most versatile recipes you can have in your recipe arsenal! It adds tons of flavor to pasta, rice, salads, sandwiches, veggies for dipping... try it out on lots of things!
|Fresh basil||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1/4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Pine nuts||1/4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm)|
|Olive oil||1/4 Cup (4 tbs)|
In a food processor, add in all the ingredients except olive oil. Blend and process until coarsely chopped.
Stream in the olive oil and blend until smooth.
Serve the pesto over the pasta.
