How to make Olive Garden Bread Sticks

Do you love the Olive Garden Recipes? How about their bread sticks? You can enjoy this bread stick recipe. You will get a more dense bread stick, and if you use butter, these will be more rich tasting than the Olive Garden.


Warm water 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs)
Sugar 1 Tablespoon
Yeast 1 Tablespoon (one package instant yeast)
Vegetable oil 2 Tablespoon
Salt 1 1/2 Teaspoon
Flour 4 1/2 Cup (72 tbs)
For buttery topping
Butter 4 Tablespoon , melted
Garlic powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Grated parmesan cheese 1 Tablespoon
Oregano 1/8 Teaspoon , crush
For dusting and greasing
Flour 1 Tablespoon (For dusting)
Non stick cooking spray 1 Teaspoon (for greasing)



1. Grease a bowl and baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.

2. In food processor or large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, oil, and yeast.

3. Add flour and salt. Process until the dough forms a nice uniform ball.

4. Into the greased bowl, transfer the dough, cover with a towel and let rise in a warm place. This should take about an hour.


5. On floured board, place the dough and roll out into a large rectangle.

6. Cut in half horizontally, and then cut into vertical strips of dough about 1 1/2 inches thick. Roll the strips of dough into sticks.

7.Place dough sticks on the greased baking sheet, and allow them to rise for about 45 minutes or until they have doubled in size.

For Topping:

8. In a bowl, melt butter and stir in cheese, garlic powder, and oregano.

9. Preheat oven to 350 degree F.


10. Just before baking, brush dough sticks with butter cheese mixture.

11. Pop the baking sheet in oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.


12. Brush any leftover butter topping on bread sticks before serving. Serve and enjoy!
