Basil Pesto- Quick & Easy

This Classic Basil Pesto is one of the most versatile and delicious foods ever! It's got fresh basil, pinenuts, parmesan, olive oil, and garlic, and it can be spread on baguette or tossed with pasta.


Garlic cloves 3 Large , peeled
Toasted pine nuts 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (((can sub walnuts)))
Fresh basil 2 Ounce
Extra virgin olive oil 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Salt and pepper To Taste
Freshly grated parmesan cheese 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)



1. In food processor, pulse garlic and pine nuts until well chopped. Add basil and pulse again.

2. With the processor running, pour in the olive oil and then season with salt and pepper.

3. Add Parmesan cheese and pulse. Taste and adjust seasoning of salt.


4. Serve on toast or with pasta and enjoy!
