Herbed Pizza Strips by Tarla Dalal

These are crispy, garlicky pizza strips, with a tint of spice...perfect in taste and presentation.
They are great to serve with soups.


Pizza base 2 (readymade (6"))
For the topping
Olive oil 3 Tablespoon
Garlic paste 1 1/2 Teaspoon (lehsun paste)
Mixed herbs 2 Teaspoon (dried)
Dry red chili flakes 1 Teaspoon (paprika)
Salt To Taste
Other ingredients
Olive oil 2 Teaspoon (For greasing and brushing)



1. Grease a baking tray.


2. In a bowl, combine together all the topping ingredients.

3. On a dry and clean surface, place the pizza bases, and spread the prepared topping in equal proportion on both of them using a spoon.

4. Cut the pizza bases in a horizontal way into medium sized strips and place them on a greased baking tray.

5. Bake them in pre-heated oven at 200 degrees C (400 degrees F) for 15 - 20 minutes or until the base is brown and crispy.

6. Brush the pizza strips with little amount of olive oil.


7. Serve them hot with soup of choice.
