Betty's Garlic Parmesan Bread

In this video, Betty demonstrates how to make Garlic Parmesan Bread, which will accompany an Italian-style entrée for Mother's Day.

Ingredients

Butter 3 Tablespoon , softened
Finely grated parmesan cheese 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (or romano)
Garlic cloves 6 , toasted
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Ground black pepper 1 Dash
Chopped fresh parsley 1 Teaspoon
Italian bread loaf 1 , cut horizontally into two equal halves

Directions

GETTING READY

1. Preheat oven to 400 degree F.

MAKING

2. In a small mixing bowl, combine butter, Parmesan cheese, toasted garlic, salt, and ground black pepper. Mash and mix until well combined.

3. Add fresh chopped parsley and mix well.

4. On a baking tray, place one or both halves of the bread loaf and spread garlic cheese mixture equally on top. Pop in oven and bake for about 5-8 minutes or until hot and edges are beginning to brown.

5. Remove from oven, slice diagonally into 1 ½-inch slices.

SERVING

6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
