Making Mozzarella Risotto Balls,its fast and easy. An excellent treat for the family. A great dish to share with friends and family. This dish is so tasty and yummy, we love making and eating mozzarella balls!


Short grain rice 12 Ounce
Water 14 Ounce
Chicken stock 14 Ounce
White zinfandel wine 2 Ounce
Parmesan cheese 2 Tablespoon
Oil 2 Tablespoon
Salt and pepper To Taste
Parsley flakes 1 Teaspoon
Bread crumbs 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Flour 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Eggs 2
Onion 1/2 , finely chopped
Mozzarella balls 100 Gram
Oil 1 Cup (16 tbs) (For deep frying)



1. In a large pot, pour in the chicken stock and water. Place on stove on high heat. Bring to a boil and lower the heat, let it simmer.

2. In a frying pan, pour in the oil. Add the onion and rice, stir well.

3. Pour wine in the rice and stir until wine evaporates.

4. Add the chicken stock to the rice in batches and stir continuously. Let rice absorb the chicken stock. Keep adding the stock until the rice is cooked and creamy.

5. Add in the Parmesan cheese and parsley flakes mix, remove from the stove. Place in a bowl and cover with saran wrap. Refrigerate for about 20 minutes.

6. In a bowl, put the flour and season with salt and pepper. In separate bowls, place egg and bread crumbs.

7. Wet your hands with water and make equal sized balls with the rice, then create a thumb indentation as shown in the video, insert mozzarella ball in the center of each rice ball and cover. Dip the balls in flour, egg, and then bread crumbs.

8. In a frying pan, pour in the oil and let it heat. Place the balls into the pan, fry until golden brown. Take out from the pan and let them sit on a kitchen towel.


9. Serve the risotto balls with your favorite condiment.
