Penne Rigate in Shrimp Mushroom Sauce

Penne rigate 150 Gram
Shrimp 200 Gram , peeled, deveined
Button mushrooms 200 Gram , chopped
Fresh oregano 15 Gram
Fresh basil 15 Gram
Onion 1 Large , chopped finely
Tomato 1 , chopped finely
Tomato sauce 20 Milliliter
Salt & pepper To Taste
Water 3 Cup (48 tbs) (to boil pasta)
Sunflower oil 2 Tablespoon



1. In a deep pan, boil the pasta according to the pack description to al dente. Remove and drain the water, but reserve half a cup for later.

2. In a pan, add the oil. Saute the onions and then add tomatoes and cook till tender.

3. Put in the mushrooms and cook till it shrivels in size.

4. Add the fresh oregano and basil and stir.

5. Pour in the tomato sauce and season with salt and pepper.

6. Add the shrimp and the pasta water. Cook for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat.

7. Mix the sauce mixture with cooked pasta.


8. Serve hot.
