Betty's Easy Cheesy Crostini

In this video, Betty demonstrates how to make Easy Cheesy Crostini. This Crostini is made from slices of French bread, which is spread with olive oil, sprinkled with grated Parmesan cheese, and toasted in the oven.


French bread loaf/Italian bread loaf 1 , cut in diagonal slices, about 3/4
Olive oil 1 Tablespoon (as needed for basting)
Finely grated parmesan cheese 2 Tablespoon (for topping, as desired)



1. Preheat oven to 375 degree F.


2. On a baking sheet or pan, place diagonal slices of French or Italian bread.

3. Brush with olive oil on both sides and sprinkle top with finely grated Parmesan cheese.

4. Pop in oven and bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until lightly brown. For additional browning, turn oven to Broil and bake for another 30-60 seconds.

5. Remove from oven, place on a nice serving plate.


6. Serve immediately with herb butter and enjoy!
