Faces of Italy: Mouth Watering Morning Pizza

Chef Kevin has a new breakfast favorite - Pizza! Kevin then tantalizes the taste buds with Turkey Tetrazzini.

Ingredients

Parmesan 1 Tablespoon (For the pizza roll)
Pepperoni 6 (For the pizza roll)
Mozzarella 1 Tablespoon (For the pizza roll)
Ricotta 1 Tablespoon (For the pizza roll)
Oil 2 Cup (32 tbs) (for frying)
Pizza dough 1/2 Kilogram (home made or readymade)
Dried basil 1/2 Teaspoon (For the pizza roll)
Tomato sauce 1 Tablespoon (For the pizza roll)
Thyme 1/2 Teaspoon (For the pizza roll)
Chicken breast 1/2 Pound (For the chicken tenders)
Flour 1 Cup (16 tbs) (For the onion rings)
Bread crumbs 1 Cup (16 tbs) (For the chicken tenders)
Egg 4 (For egg wash and egg dip used for both onion rings and chicken tenders)
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon (For the onion rings)
Pepper 1/2 Teaspoon (For the onion rings)
Oregano 1/2 Teaspoon (For the onion rings)
Basil 1 Teaspoon (For the onion rings)
Italian seasoning 1 Teaspoon (For the onion rings)
Water 1 Cup (16 tbs) (For the onion rings)
Corn meal 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (For the onion rings)
Garlic powder 1 Teaspoon (For the onion rings)
Onion 1 Large

Directions

GETTING READY

1.Set the fryer to 360 degrees.

MAKING

2.Roll out the pizza dough nice and thin.

3.Place the slices of pepperoni in one line on one side of the flattened dough and sprinkle some parmesan cheese , top it up with some sauce.

4.Line all the cheese on the other side and sprinkle some thyme on top.

5.Cut the dough in two halves separating the cheese and pepperoni and fold the dough over , brush the sides of dough with the egg wash to seal the edges.

6.Cut the dough with the help of a template giving it a round shape.

7.Press the sides of the small rolls with the help of a fork and seal the edges.

8.Heat the oil in a fryer or deep pan and fry the pizza rolls until golden brown and crisp.

9.Take out the rolls in a paper towels to shake off excess oil.

Chicken tenders

MAKING

1.Dip the chicken breast in the flour and then dip it in egg and coat it with the crumbs.

2.Deep fry them till golden.

3.Sprinkle some cheese and parsley and sauce on it.

SERVING

4.Serve on a plate garnished with parmesan cheese and parsley

Onion rings

MAKING

1.In a mixing bowl mix flour, corn meal, baking soda, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning and slowly add water to mix all the ingredients.

2. Coat the onion rings with this mixture and fry until golden brown.

SERVING

3.Serve on a plate garnished with parmesan cheese and parsley
