Ripe tomatoes | 8 Medium , sliced thickly | |
Fresh mozzarella cheese | 1 Pound , thinly sliced | |
Fresh basil leaves | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Extra | virgin olive oil | |
Salt | 1 Teaspoon (preferably sea salt) | |
Pepper | 1 Teaspoon , freshly ground | |
Basil oil | 1 Tablespoon (Leveled) (for drizzling) | |
Chili oil | 1 Teaspoon (for drizzling) | |
Balsamic vinegar | 1 Teaspoon (for drizzling) | |
Parmesan crisps | 8 Large (for garnish) (Optional) | |
Black olives | 16 Large (for garnish) |
MAKING
1.Alternate slices of tomato and mozzarella on a platter.
2.Garnish generously with basil leaves, tucking some underneath the tomatoes.
3.Drizzle some olive oil, basil oil,chilli oil,balsamic vinegar and then sprinkle with the salt and pepper.
SERVING
4.Serve immediately.
