I know the idea of using Mortadella in anything other than a sandwich is unusual but I promise you will love this recipe! It's the kind of dish that makes you say OMG this is fantastic with the very first bite. Serve as a main dish along with a hearty mixed green salad or as a unique side dish to accompany pork or beef. Mortadella is available at most deli counters in your local market, but if you can't find it you can substitute thinly sliced bologna!

Boiled potatoes 3 Large , mashed with a fork
Mozzarella 8 Ounce , cut into cubes
Parmesan 1 Cup (16 tbs) , grated
Mortadella 5 Ounce , thinly sliced and chopped finely
Fontina 4 Ounce , cut into small pieces
Eggs 2 Medium , beaten
Parsely 3 Tablespoon , chopped
Salt 1 Teaspoon
Olive oil 1 Teaspoon (to coat the tart pan)
Bread crumbs 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Butter 2 Tablespoon , softened

1.Preheat oven to 400°F.

2.Grease the tart pan with olive oil and dust with ½ of the bread crumbs.

3.In a large mixing bowl combine the remaining ingredients.

4.Spread evenly into the tart pan.

5.Generously sprinkle the remaining bread crumbs on top.

6.Bake until golden brown.

7.Serve along with a hearty mixed green salad or as a unique side dish to pork or beef.
