Cheesy Bacon And Tomato Gnocchi Bake

Cheesy Bacon and Tomato Gnocchi Bake is an easy to prepare weeknight dish that is packed full of flavour! Bacon, onion, garlic and tomato are combined with chilli and freshly boiled potato gnocchi. Covered in grated mozzarella cheese and baked until golden, this fabulous dish is quick, easy and guaranteed to become a new family favourite - give it a go!

Ingredients

Brown onion 1 , peeled and diced
Diced bacon/Ham 200 Gram
Minced garlic 2 Teaspoon ((2 Cloves))
Canned diced tomatoes 400 Gram ((1 can))
Long red chilli 1 , finely chopped, seeds removed
Gnocchi 500 Gram
Grated cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Salt To Taste
Pepper To Taste
Olive oil 1 Tablespoon

Directions

GETTING READY:

Preheat oven to 400F/200C.

MAKING:

In a pot, boil water. Add gnocchi and cook until it floats.

Heat a frying pan with olive oil and saute onion in it.

Add garlic, bacon and stir until onions soften.

Add chilli, canned tomatoes and stir well.

Allow to simmer for 5 minutes.

Season with salt and pepper.

Add gnocchi and stir well. Top with grated cheese.

Transfer to casserole dish and bake for 10-15 minutes.
