Chopped pine nuts/Pecans /walnuts | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
Grated parmesan cheese | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
Garlic | 2 Clove (10 gm) , minced | |
Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Fresh lemon juice | 1/2 Teaspoon , optional | |
For cilantro jalapeño pesto: | ||
Packed basil leaves | 2 Cup (32 tbs) (1 | |
Jalapenos | 2 , chopped, seeded for less heat | |
Garlic | 2 Clove (10 gm) , smashed | |
Oil | 6 Tablespoon (neutral) | |
Lemon juice/Lime juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Toasted coconut flakes | 2 Tablespoon (optional) |
MAKING:
In a food processor or blender, combine all ingredients and pulse until well combined.
Adjust lemon juice and salt to taste.
