Don't have time? Let's make quick pan pizza which do not require kneading, rolling, oven! Instead of yeast, baking soda or powder can be used as well.
These days, I prepare the pan ahead of time and let it rest for about an hour or so and the crust comes out way better than preparing it immediately so feel free to play around with it your way.
|For the dough|
|Flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|For the topping|
|Pizza sauce||2 Tablespoon|
|Grated cheese||1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , divided|
|Sliced onion||1 Tablespoon|
|Sliced bell peppers||1/4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Sliced tomatoes||1/4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Sliced black olives||1 Tablespoon|
In a deep pan, add in the flour, sugar, salt and yeast. Mix well.
Add in the oil and water. Still well and spread evenly on the pan.
Spread pizza sauce over the base and top with half of the cheese, followed by the onion, bell peppers, remaining cheese, tomatoes and olives.
Place the pan over the stove on medium heat and cover. Cook until all the cheese melted and crust looks done.
Garnish with basil and serve.
