Homemade Rosemary and Thyme Marinade

Join Joe Borio, host of, "Cooking Italian with Joe", as he shares a simple and easy recipe for a marinade that can be used for many meats, dishes and even as a salad dressing. This is an absolutely beautiful and delicious recipe that brings out the flavors of Italy in everything you use it with.


Extra virgin olive oil 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Balsamic vinegar 2/3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
Golden onion 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs) , chopped finely
Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm) , chopped
Rosemary 1 Tablespoon
Thyme 1 Teaspoon
Salt and pepper To Taste



1. Take olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, onion, thyme, rosemary and whisk it all together.

2. Season with salt and pepper. Stir well.


3. Drizzle over a salad and serve or use it as marinade and grill meat.
