Rigatoni Alla Buttera

How about making Rigatoni alla Buttera! It's a simple combination using Italian sausage, crushed tomatoes, peas and heavy cream for a great flavor for dinner.


Italian sausage 1 Pound
White onion 1 , chopped finely
Crushed red pepper 1 Pinch
Crushed tomatoes 56 Ounce
Frozen peas 1/2 Pound
Heavy cream 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Rigatoni 1 Pound , prepared and water retained
Parmesan cheese 2 Tablespoon
Olive oil 1 Tablespoon
Salt To Taste
Pepper To Taste




1.  In a large saucepan, add the olive oil. Add sausages and brown them partially. Add onions and crushed red pepper and cook until both sausage and onions are browned.


2.  Stir in the tomatoes and simmer over medium heat for approximately 15 to 20 minutes.


3.  In a pot, bring water to a boil and add salt to it.Cook pasta according to package directions reserving one cup of the boiling water.


4.  Stir peas in the sauce and warm up for 3 minutes. Finish with cream.


5.  Add sauce to the boiled pasta alongwith the reserved pasta water as shown in the video.





6.  Top with Parmesan cheese and serve.
