Homemade Gnocchi with Vodka Sauce

Join Joe Borio, host of ,"Cooking Italian with Joe", as he shares with you, how to make homemade gnocchi drizzled with Vodka sauce. This is an old family recipe, that I am excited to share with you and your family.


Russet potatoes 6 , baked, peeled and riced
All purpose flour 2 1/2 Cup (40 tbs)
Nutmeg 1/2 Teaspoon
Sea salt 1 Teaspoon
Parmesan cheese 3/4 Cup (12 tbs)
Eggs 3
Salt To Taste
Olive oil 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)



1. Season the potatoes with salt and nutmeg.

2. Add parmesan to the potatoes and beaten eggs, Mix ligthly with the pastry knife

3. Pour oil over the potato mix and then season with black pepper. 

4. Drop in the flour and mix everything with the pastry knife until it all comes together.

5. Take a portion of the dough and roll it thin. Cut into bite size pieces.

6. Roll the gnocchi over the board and then set them aside.

7. Heat water in a pot, boil the gnocchi in the water just until it starts to float on top.

8. Scoop the gnocchi in a serving dish.



9. Drizzle some olive oil and mix it in. 

10. Pour some vodka sauce over the gnocchi and serve as it is. Enjoy!!
