Tamarind Chilly Wings - How To Make Sweet And Sour Chicken Wings - Sticky Chicken Wings

When the sweet and sour flavors meet the sizzling chilly flavor, they convert into 'Tamarind Chilly Wings' that will make your taste buds swing!


Chicken wings 8
Ginger garlic paste
Pepper 1 Teaspoon
Red chilli powder 1 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste
Corn flour 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (for dusting)
Jaggery 2 Tablespoon
Tamarind paste 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Finely chopped ginger 1/2 Tablespoon
Green chillies 2
Butter 2 Tablespoon
Oil 2 Tablespoon



For tamarind chilli sauce:

1.Place garlic, onion, ginger, and coriander root or stem into a food processor and process to a coarse paste

2.Heat oil in a pan over a high heat, add paste and chillies and sauté for 2 minutes.

3.Add jaggery and tamarind paste. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat and keep warm.

For chicken wings:

4.Wash the chicken wings and lightly dry pat them.

5.Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Now dust the wings with this mixture.

6.Deep-fry the wings until cooked and golden in colour.

7.In a bowl, toss the fried wings in the tamarind chili sauce. The wings should be coated in the sauce.


8.Serve and enjoy!
