One of my favorite breakfast foods! If youve never made pancake syrup from scratch then....you might want to skip it because seriously..once you taste homemade all the other store-bought kinds will because just ok. Although I have found one store-bought kind that tastes close to homemade (Log Cabin baby!)
This homemade pancake syrup is so buttery, smooth, rich and delicious! Im not really a fan of having a lot of syrup on my waffles or pancakes but with this homemade syrup, I just want to drink it up!
Its that good! Perfectly sweet and balanced out with the salt and butter. This and my buttermilk syrup recipe (recipe coming soon) is the only homemade syrup my boys will eat.
