Chapati Masala Noodles (Low Calorie Snack)

Keep the metabolism going with this yummy snack rich in nutrients. The tomato-onion garam masala spices up boring, leftover chapatis


Low fat butter 2 Teaspoon
Sliced onion 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Sliced capsicum 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Finely chopped garlic 1 Teaspoon
Sliced tomatoes 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Turmeric powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Chili powder 1/2 Teaspoon (or to taste)
Water 1 Tablespoon
Black salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Garam masala 1/2 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste
Chapati 5 , cut into long strips (leftover)
For garnish
Finely chopped coriander 2 Tablespoon
Lemon juice 2 Teaspoon



1. In a non-stick pan, heat butter, add onion and saute over medium flame for 1-2 minutes. Sprinkle little water if needed to avoid burning.

2. Add capsicum, garlic and saute for 1 minute.

3. Add tomato, turmeric powder, chili powder and 1 tablespoon of water. Mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes.

4. Add black salt, garam masala and salt. Stir occasionally and cook for 1 minute.

5. Stir in chapatti strips and cook for 1 minute.


6. Drizzle lemon juice and serve garnished with coriander.
