This classic combination of paneer and peas is loved by all. Instead of the regular peas-paneer gravy, make these succulent protein, fibre and calcium rich tikkis for a change. Kids can eat them easily and will love the crisp taste of these tikkis when served hot with tomato ketchup.

Boiled green peas 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Grated paneer 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (cottage cheese)
Boiled mashed potato 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Finely chopped coriander 2 Tablespoon
Green chili paste 1/2 Teaspoon
Ginger paste 1/2 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste
Oil 1 Teaspoon (For greasing and cooking)
For coating
Milk 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Quick cooking rolled oats 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)

1. In a bowl, mix green peas, paneer, potato, coriander, chili paste, ginger paste, and salt. Mix well. Divide the mixture into 7 equal portions and shape each portion into 1 ½ - inch round, flat tikki.

2. Dip each tikki in milk and then roll them in the oats to coat well on both the sides.

3. Heat a non-stick griddle and grease it lightly using ⅛ teaspoon of oil.

4. Cook each tikki over medium flame, using ⅛ teaspoon of oil until golden brown on both sides.

5. Serve warm with tomato ketchup.
