A fibre-rich and mouth-watering treat of green peas and onions! Remember not to overcook the peas to retain their color and nutrients.


Oil 2 Teaspoon
Cumin seeds 1 Teaspoon
Onion rings 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs)
Tomato pulp 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Chili powder 1 Teaspoon
Coriander cumin powder 2 Teaspoon
Garam masala 3/4 Teaspoon
Dried mango powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Boiled green peas 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs)
Salt To Taste
Chopped tomatoes 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Water 2 Tablespoon
For garnish
Finely chopped coriander 2 Tablespoon



1. In a non-stick skillet, heat oil, add cumin seeds and allow them to splutter.

2. Add onion rings and saute over medium flame until light brown.

3. Add tomato pulp, chili powder, coriander-cumin powder, garam masala and dried mango powder. Stir occasionally and cook for 2-3 minutes.

4. Stir in green peas and season with salt. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes.

5. Add tomato and 2 tablespoons of water. Stir well and cook for 2 more minutes.


6. Serve hot garnished with coriander.
