Quick Mini Soya Dosa by Tarla Dalal

Children will be captivated by these mini soya dosas, an interesting variation of the usual rice dosas.

Ingredients

Rice flour 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (chawal ka atta)
Lentil flour 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (split black lentil flour (urad dal))
Soya flour 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Grated cucumber 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Finely chopped coriander 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (dhania)
Finely chopped green chilies 1 1/2 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste
Fruit salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Oil 1 1/2 Teaspoon
Water 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs)

Directions

GETTING READY

1. In a bowl, combine together rice flour, soya flour, and urad dal flour along with 1.5 cups of water and stir properly to make a thin batter.

2. To the batter, mix in cucumber, coriander, salt, and green chilies.

3. Add fruit salt to the batter before cooking.

MAKING

4. Heat a greased non-stick mini uttapa pan, and pour around 1.5 tablespoons of the batter into each mould. Spread the batter lightly. Cook the mini dosas using little amount of oil until golden brown and crispy on both sides.

5. Repeat the process and make another batch.

SERVING

6. Serve the dosas hot with green chutney and tomato ketchup.
