For batter | ||
Besan | 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs) ((Chick pea flour)) | |
Turmeric powder | 1 Pinch | |
Coriander cumin powder | 1/2 Tablespoon | |

Baking soda | 1/2 Teaspoon ((pr 1 tsp Eno)) | |
Lemon juice/Lime juice | 4 Drop ((few drops)) | |
Water | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) ((as needed)) |
MAKING
For Stuffing:
1. Place a pan on flame, heat oil, add spice mix and allow them to splutter.
2. Add turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, coriander cumin seed powder, red chili powder, shredded coconut, and ground peanut. Stir and cook until fragrant.
3. Add sesame seeds, pour water, and then add mashed potato. Add coriander leaves, mix and set aside to cool.
4. Deseed pepper and stuff them with the mixture. Do not over stuff and set aside.
For Batter:
5. In a bowl, combine besan, coriander cumin powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
6. Gradually pour water and mix into a lump free batter. Add baking soda/Eno and lime/lemon juice and mix well.
FINALIZING
7. Dip pepper, one at a time into the batter to coat well, drip off the excess and deep fry in oil until golden brown. Drain on paper towel.
SERVING
8. Serve with chutney and enjoy!
