Sweet and sour, chatpata chaat... mom, you are gonna rise really high up your kid's popularity chart! This is a smart way to make your child consume protein and calcium rich kabuli chana and paneer, which might otherwise not seem too enticing.

Ingredients

For khatti meethi chutney
Chopped mint leaves 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Chopped coriander 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Green chili 6 , roughly chopped (4
Sugar 2 Tablespoon
Cumin seeds 1 Teaspoon
Lemon juice 1 1/2 Tablespoon
Chaat masala 1/2 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste
Other ingredients for chaat
Butter 1 Tablespoon
Cumin seeds 1/2 Teaspoon
Chopped tomato 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Cubed boiled potatoes 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Soaked and boiled kabuli chana 1 Cup (16 tbs) (chick peas)
Paneer cubes 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (cottage cheese)
Finely chopped coriander 2 Tablespoon
Lemon juice 1/2 Teaspoon

Directions

GETTING READY

For Khatti Meethi Chutney:

1. In mixer, add mint leaves, coriander, green chili, sugar, cumin seeds, lemon juice, chaat masala, and salt. Grind into a smooth paste using little water.

MAKING

2. In a broad non-stick pan, heat butter, add cumin seeds and allow them to splutter.

3. Add tomato, potato cubes, and kabuli chana. Stir and cook over medium flame for 1 minute.

4. Stir in paneer, season with salt and cook for 1-2 minutes. Remove from the flame and keep aside to cool.

5. When cooled, add ¼ cup of khatti-meethi chutney, lemon juice and coriander. Toss well. Refrigerate for 1 hour.

SERVING

6. Serve immediately or chilled.
