How to Make Butter Garlic Naan

Learn how to make healthy Butter Garlic Naan at home- This is a No Egg- No Yeast recipe and I say it's healthy because 1. You can control the amount of Butter you want to use (I used minimal) 2. Instead of using only all purpose flour (Maida)- we've used Whole Wheat flour as well.

Ingredients

For dough
All purpose flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Whole wheat flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Baking powder 1 Tablespoon
Garlic salt 1 Teaspoon
Yogurt 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Garlic cloves 2 , mince
Melted butter 2 Tablespoon
Water 2/3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
Oil 1 Tablespoon
For topping
Cilantro stalks 3 , chopped finely (2
Garlic clove 2 , mince
Butter 2 Tablespoon

Directions

GETTING READY

1. In a bowl, combine all purpose flour, whole wheat flour, baking powder, and garlic salt. Mix well.

2. Add yogurt, minced garlic, and butter. Mix well and gradually add water to form smooth dough.

3. Grease palm with oil and rub it on the dough. Cover the dough with wet towel and set aside for an hour.

4. Preheat oven and baking tray to 550 degree F.

MAKING

5. Take tennis ball size dough and roll it into circle.

6. Spread minced garlic, cilantro, and butter on top.

7. Place the naan on the baking tray and bake for 5 minutes, flipping once after 4 minutes. Repeat for the remaining dough.

SERVING

8. Serve hot with Indian curry and enjoy!
