Visually appealing and delicious! The til in this chaat is a perfect calcium boost and hence a healthy choice for snacking or entertaining.


Sesame seeds 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (til)
Boiled baby potatoes 1 1/4 Cup (20 tbs) , peeled
Oil 2 Teaspoon
Slit green chillies 2
Finely chopped onions 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Chopped mint leaves 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (pudina)
Finely chopped coriander 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (dhania)
Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
Salt To Taste
Water 3 Tablespoon



1. In the mixer, combine sesame seeds with 2-3 tablespoons of water and blend to form a smooth paste. Keep the paste aside.


2. In a non stick pan, add oil and when hot, add green chilies and onions. Sauté for a minute or two, before adding already prepared sesame seeds paste.

3. Sauté for a minute or so and add potatoes, followed by adding mint leaves, coriander, and salt. Cook for a minute or so. Sprinkle little amount of water, and cook for a couple of minutes, while stirring continuously. Turn off heat.


4. Serve the chaat immediately.
