Sukha bhel, the best medicine for sudden hunger pangs, be it on a noisy railway platform or a quiet roadside! this dry, non-messy variation of bhel can be stuffed in as a quick meal even as you rush to work. You may add veggies like tomatoes etc if you wish to make it an even more enjoyable and wholesome snack.

Ingredients

For sukha teekha chutney
Chopped mint leaves 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Chopped coriander 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Roasted chana dal 1 1/2 Tablespoon
Chopped green chilies 1 Tablespoon
Turmeric powder 1 Pinch
Asafoetida 1 Pinch
Lemon juice 1 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste
Other ingredients
Puffed rice 4 Cup (64 tbs)
Boiled chopped potatoes 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , peeled, chopped
Finely chopped onion 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Masala chana dal 4 Teaspoon
Roasted peanuts 4 Teaspoon
Roasted chana 4 Teaspoon
Finely chopped raw mangoes 1 Tablespoon
Cumin seed powder 1 Teaspoon
Chili powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
Sev 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (Nylon sev)
Papdi 8 , broken into pieces (6 to 8 puris)
For garnish
Sev 4 Tablespoon
Chopped coriander 4 Tablespoon
For serving
Papdi 8

Directions

GETTING READY

For Chutney:

1. In mixer, combine mint leaves, coriander, roasted Bengal gram, green chili, turmeric, asafoetida, lemon juice, and salt. Blend into a fine paste and set aside.

MAKING

2. In a large bowl, combine puffed rice, potato, onion, prepared chutney, masala chana dal, peanuts, roasted chana, raw mango, cumin powder, chili powder, lemon juice, salt, sev, and papdi.

SERVING

3. Serve immediately garnished with sev, coriander and papdi.
