These pancakes are made by adding oats to wheat flour, as oats are highly nutritious and filled with cholesterol-fighting soluble fiber. Being extremely satiating, they prevent you from bingeing on junk food. Serve these pancakes hot, along with green chutney.

Rolled oats 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (quick cooking)
Whole wheat flour 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (gehun ka atta)
Jowar flour 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (white millet)
Finely chopped onions 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Finely chopped tomatoes 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Salt To Taste
Ginger green chilli paste
Chopped coriander leaves 2 Tablespoon (dhania)
Oil 1 1/4 Teaspoon (for greasing and cooking)
Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)

1. In a bowl, combine together all the ingredients, except water. Add water gradually to make a thick batter.

2. Grease the griddle with little amount of oil, and when the griddle is hot, pour over a ladle full of prepared batter, and spread it evenly in a circular motion to make a 4 inch round pancake. Cook on both sides until brown, using ¼ teaspoon of oil

3. Repeat the same procedure with the remaining batter to prepare three more pancakes.

4. Serve the pancakes hot along with green chutney.
