Hariyali Mutter (Diabetic-Friendly)

Brimming with nutrients, this mutter subzi will be a hit with pea lovers! This recipe can be relished by people suffering from diabetes.

Ingredients

Boiled green peas 1 Cup (16 tbs)
For paste
Coriander 2 Cup (32 tbs) , chopped
Green chilies 4 , chopped
Ginger 5 Gram
Garlic cloves 4
Water 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Other ingredients
Oil 2 Teaspoon
Cumin seeds 1 Teaspoon
Nigella seeds 1/2 Teaspoon
Asafoetida 1 Pinch
Low fat milk 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Salt To Taste
Low fat paneer 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) , cubed
Water 2 Tablespoon

Directions

MAKING

1. In a mixer, grind together all ingredients for the paste.

2. In a non stick wok, heat oil, add cumin seeds and saute for few seconds, add nigella seeds, cook for few more seconds. Add asafoetida and the prepared paste, mix well and cook for about 2 minutes.

3. Pour in the milk and add peas, cook for another 2 minutes. Add water and mix.

4. Season with salt, stir to mix. Add paneer and mix lightly.

SERVING

5. Serve immediately with hot fulkas.
