Cabbage, Carrot and Paneer Grill Sandwich by Tarla Dalal

A quick and satiating breakfast with vegetable, paneer, and cheese stuffing! A glass of milkshake is just perfect to round up your morning meal.


Bread slices 6
Butter 2 Tablespoon
For stuffing
Finely chopped cabbage 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Grated carrot 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Grated cottage cheese 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (paneer)
Finely chopped coriander 2 Tablespoon (dhaniya)
Finely chopped green chilies 2 Teaspoon
Grated processed cheese 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Salt To Taste



1. Pre heat the grill.

2. In a bowl combine together all the stuffing ingredients, and divide into three equal parts. Keep aside.

3. Apply 1 teaspoon of butter on the bread slices and keep them aside.

4. Now spread one part of the stuffing on a bread slice, with butter side facing downwards, and cover the stuffing with another bread slice, with butter side facing upwards.


5. Place the sandwich in a pre heated grill, and grill for around 5 minutes until brown and crispy from both sides.

6. Make 2 more sandwiches similarly.


7. Cut the sandwiches into two portions diagonally, and serve them hot.
