A microwave version of the traditional bengali "steamed sweet curds".

Ingredients

Condensed milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Full fat hung curds 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Cornflour 1 Tablespoon
For garnish
Cardamom powder 1 Pinch

Directions

MAKING

1. In a bowl, combine condensed milk, curd, and corn flour. Whisk well till no lumps remain.

2. Into 12 small microwave safe bowls, equally pour the milk mixture. Pop the bowls in oven, 4 bowls at a time and microwave on high for 40 seconds.

SERVING

3. Serve immediately or chilled garnished with cardamom powder.

TIPS

For orange flavored doi: Along with milk, condensed milk, and corn flour mix 3 tablespoons of orange crush and few drops of lemon juice. Microwave and serve immediately or chilled garnished with a little orange crush.
