Deep fried potato slices coated with honey chili sauce!
Potato | 1 Medium , cut into french fries | |
Salt | 1 Teaspoon (Salt rub and salt is washed away) | |
Corn flour | 3 Tablespoon | |
For sauce | ||
Vegetable oil | 1 Teaspoon | |
Schezwan sauce | 2 Tablespoon | |
Honey | 3 Tablespoon | |
White sesame seeds | 1 Teaspoon | |
For deep frying potato | ||
Vegetable oil | 1 Liter (For deep frying) |
GETTING READY
1. Peel potatoes and cut into French fries, add salt and leave for 10–15 minutes.
2. Wash and drain out all the water and pat dry the slices with kitchen towel. Potato slices should be absolutely dry.
MAKING
3. In a bowl, coat potato slices with corn flour.
4. In a pan heat vegetable oil, shake off excess flour from the potatoes and deep fry for about 3 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oil and drain on kitchen towel.
For Sauce:
5. In another pan, heat vegetable oil and add white sesame seeds. When the sesame seeds starts to splutter add honey and schezwan sauce. Mix well and add the fried potatoes. Stir and cook till the gravy reduces.
SERVING
6. Serve hot.
