Water 1 Liter
Clarified butter 1 1/2 Teaspoon (Ghee)
Sugar 200 Gram
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Cinnamon powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Semolina 1/2 Kilogram (Suji)
Vegetable oil 1 Liter (For deep frying)

1. In a pan pour water and bring it to a boil.

2. Add ghee (clarified butter), sugar, salt, and cinnamon powder.

3. Reduce the flame and add semolina slowly while stirring continuously. Cook till it absorbs the water completely. Transfer it to a bowl and let it cool.

4. Once it cools knead it properly to make smooth dough (to the consistency of flour).

5. Put a little bit of ghee on your palm and fingers. Make small balls with the dough. Flatten the semolina balls with your fingers.

6. In a pan heat the oil for deep frying. Once the oil is hot add the semolina balls and fry till golden brown.
