Chopped green chili | 1 Teaspoon | |
Asefeotida powder | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Salt | 3/4 Teaspoon | |
Sesame seeds | 3 Teaspoon (White gingelly seeds) | |
Butter | 1 Teaspoon | |
Coconut milk | 2 Teaspoon | |
Vegetable oil | 1 Cup (16 tbs) (For deep frying) | |
For garnishing | ||
Grated coconut | 1 Teaspoon (as needed) |
GETTING READY
1. In a blender, add chopped green chili, asafetida powder, and salt. Blend this into a smooth paste.
MAKING
2. In a bowl add sieved rice flour, butter, and sesame seeds.
3. Add coconut milk to the green chili paste. Mix well.
4. Add this coconut green chili mixture into the bowl with rice flour and mix well.
5. Make several small balls from the dough.
6. Preheat the vegetable oil for deep frying. Deep fry the balls till they turn brown.
SERVING
7. Garnish with grated coconut. Serve hot.
