A mouthwatering deep fried snack made of rice flour. You can serve it with tea or coffee.

Ingredients

Rice flour 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs) , sifted
Chopped green chili 1 Teaspoon
Asefeotida powder 1/4 Teaspoon
Salt 3/4 Teaspoon
Sesame seeds 3 Teaspoon (White gingelly seeds)
Butter 1 Teaspoon
Coconut milk 2 Teaspoon
Vegetable oil 1 Cup (16 tbs) (For deep frying)
For garnishing
Grated coconut 1 Teaspoon (as needed)

Directions

GETTING READY

1. In a blender, add chopped green chili, asafetida powder, and salt. Blend this into a smooth paste.

MAKING

2. In a bowl add sieved rice flour, butter, and sesame seeds.

3. Add coconut milk to the green chili paste. Mix well.

4. Add this coconut green chili mixture into the bowl with rice flour and mix well.

5. Make several small balls from the dough.

6. Preheat the vegetable oil for deep frying. Deep fry the balls till they turn brown.

SERVING

7. Garnish with grated coconut. Serve hot.
