Creamy Kheer (Creamy Rice Pudding)

A delicious and easy recipe for the dessert, which is great for any kind of gathering or festival. I made this with whole milk but you can substitute that with low fat milk for a healthier version.

Ingredients

Short grain rice 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Whole milk 4 Cup (64 tbs)
Sugar 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Nuts 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) , chopped

Directions

GETTING READY

1. Rinse the rice and soak them in water for 30 minutes.

MAKING

2. In a large pot, boil milk and add in rice. Simmer on low heat for 20 minutes, stirring in between until milk becomes thick.

3. Stir in sugar and nuts and stir until sugar is melted.

SERVING

4. Serve Kheer for dessert.
