Spicy deep fried chicken with flavor of ginger and Indian spices. The dish can be served an appetizer or even great as a snack.

Cayenne pepper powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
Cumin powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
Turmeric powder | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Corn flour | 2 Teaspoon | |
Eggs | 1 | |
Yogurt | 2 Tablespoon | |
Rice flour | 1/2 Tablespoon | |
Juice of lemon | 1/2 | |
Salt | To Taste | |
Oil | 1 Cup (16 tbs) (For deep frying) | |
For garnishing | ||
Capsicum | To Taste , julienned |
MAKING
1. In a grinder, add ginger paste, garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, cayenne pepper powder, turmeric powder, corn flour, egg, and salt to taste. Blend into a smooth paste.
2. In a bowl, place the chicken pieces, and add the spice paste.
3. Add yogurt, lemon juice, rice flour and salt to taste. Coat the chicken well with the marinade.
4. In a wok/pan, heat oil and deep fry the chicken pieces in small batches of six to eight, over high heat, turning frequently for 4-5 minutes or until brownish-red and crispy from outside, but moist and soft from inside.
SERVING
5. Garnish with capsicum julienne and serve hot.
