Vermicelli with Cottage Cheese and Green Peas

This version of vermicelli is my answer for Maggi, easy to make and equally delicious. With the use of Indian spices you can push up the flavor to a different level.

Ingredients

Oil 1 Tablespoon
Onion 2 Tablespoon , finely chopped
Turmeric powder 1/4 Teaspoon
Tomatoes 1 , finely chopped
Salt To Taste
Green peas 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Cottage cheese 100 Gram , cubed
Green chilies 1 Teaspoon , finely chopped
Vermicelli 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Boiled water 3/4 Cup (12 tbs)

Directions

MAKING

1. In a skillet, heat the oil and add in the onion, sauté until translucent.

2. Add in the tomatoes, turmeric, green chili and salt. Cover the skillet and cook for a few minutes on low heat.

3. Add in the peas and cook until done. Followed by the cottage cheese and stir for a few minutes.

4. Pour in the boiled water and add in the vermicelli. Cook until water is absorbed.

SERVING

5. Garnish the vermicelli with coriander leaves and serve.
